We desperately need your help! Even though all students are being allowed to eat for free again this year, we still need families to complete the free and reduced meal form. Here’s why: Our district must have at least 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced meals by October 1, 2021, or we will lose up to $8 million dollars in funding next year. This $8 million dollars are the funds used to provide nurses, social workers, and school resource officers for each school. Right now, we are only at 66%. Will you please help us by completing the application today?

~Why join the PTA? As a new PTA, we are uniquely tasked with creating the foundation for a collaborative group to benefit our school community for decades to come. Since this is our first year, we are working to establish funds through donations, fundraising events, and the sale of profitable goods. We need your help to brainstorm and provide feedback for proposed activities so that we are successful and having fun throughout the process! ~ Do I have to volunteer, fundraise, and be at the school during the day? The only requirement to being a PTA member is paying your dues and supporting our school however you can. ~ How much time will it take? It takes as much or as little time as you can offer. ~ What does the PTA do? We are a non-profit organization run exclusively by volunteers; all cash and donations go directly towards student engagement such as the Fall Festival, STEAM events, in-class celebrations, and after-school activities. We may also identify specific needs at the school that fall outside of the budget to partner in providing. Come be a part of those decisions!
